Beinn Alligin, Torridon - 16th April 2011
We went up to Torridon with Elke for a lovley day on Beinn Alligin followed by a day climbing at Aztec Tower
The unusually shaped (but not for Torridon!) Beinn Dearg behind Stuart and Elke as we head up to the Horns of Alligin
More lovely views, this time north to Baosbheinn and Beinn an Eoin (Stu and I went up the latter from the north in October, but without any views due to the mist!)
The Horns
Wow! More of what we didn't see when we went back in October!
Where else but Torridon???
The mysterious and massive Eag Dhubh (Black Notch?) - a huge rockfall caused this; below is the view looking back - you can see the fallen rock spewed out at the base
You would never know it was windy up there!

Spiral Gully, Coire an t-Sneachda - 5th March 2011
Jeanie on the walk in to Coire an t-Sneachda. What a lovely day, felt very warm on the walk in.
A closer view of the crags from Aladdins to Goat Track. Still plenty of snow in the gullies, although the buttresses are bare.
Jeanie on the crux pitch of the route, this being the left hand of the twin grooves. If you look closer another climber can be seen hot on the heels of Jeanie.
A view down from the belay below the direct finish towards Stuart and the coire further below.
A great view of Jeanie topping out on Spiral Gully into the wonderful sunshine.
A view across to Ben Macdui. Note the snowhole village used mainly by Glenmore Lodge for instructional purposes.
An early evening view across Loch Morlich towards the Nothern Corries where we were climbing.
